Benefitting our children, strengthening our community

Headmaster’s Keynote at the September PAW

We were pleased to have so many parents (as well as some teachers and staff) join us the evening of September 30th for our first PAW meeting.

TFS Head of School Dr Josep González delivered a keynote presentation on the school’s educational philosophy, which was very well received.

PA representatives reviewed last year’s finances and offered a preview of the budget and priorities for 2015-16. Parents also had an opportunity to meet, mingle, and get to know one another.

We appreciate all of the encouragement and feedback that you have shared with us, and hope to see you at the next PAW on October 27!

Parents Inspired by TFS Headmaster at PAW Meeting

Academic ambition, international-mindedness and teaching students the skills they need in life are pillars of education at TFS – Canada’s International School, said Dr Josep González in his keynote at the September 30th meeting hosted by the TFS Parents' Association at the West Campus.

“It's what I would love my children to get from a TFS education,” commented one parent after attending the presentation.

October PAW

The next PAW, to be held on October 27, will feature a dialog about the year ahead. It is also the last chance for parents to comment on the PA budget before it gets voted on at the PAC.

PAW meetings are held three times each year to provide the West Campus parent community a chance to review and give feedback on PA priorities, progress and the budget. Watch for more information in the weeks ahead.
